To set and implement vision and strategy for the Pais Project across Great Britain. Building strong recruitment and financial support for the vision.

Pete's role as the National Director of Pais GB revolves around raising finances, recruits and vision in order to make missionaries in communities across Great Britian.

Pete Baker - Short Biography.


Pete grew up in a Christian home and attended Heywood Baptist Church. He was educated at All Souls Primary School and later Emmanuel Christian School. Pete had a great Christian upbringing then became a Christian at 15 years old because of a radical, enthusiastic, passionate Christian called Justin who lived out his faith. From that point Pete wanted to emulate that faith.

Aged 18 Pete joined the Pais Project, serving in Burnley for four years as a Pais team member, then leader and then as an Assistant Course Director. Later Pete moved to Failsworth, Manchester, to be part of the Pais Leadership Team and then onto his role as the National Director for Pais GB. In January 2009 Pete and Bryony moved back to Burnley to be a part of Life Church, and make Life Church the new home and head office of Pais GB.

Both Pete and his wife Bryony have been volunteers on the Eden Project at their former church, thefaithworksfw in Failsworth, Manchester. 
In his role as the Pais National Director Pete also gets the opportunity to travel preaching and teaching and sharing the Pais vision across the UK.
