Across Canada, churches from the Pacific to the Atlantic are realising the serious need for connecting with their communities. One group in particular seems especially hard to engage: youth! PAIS is partnering with churches, schools, and young people to create change. |

History of Pais Canada |

In 2004, Pais:Canada was pioneered with one team. Now, six years later, PAIS has teams in both BC and Alberta and is fast becoming a nationally recognized project.

Vancouver || Come work with us in the city where it all started! Home to spectacular natural scenery and a bustling metropolitan core, Vancouverites boast both about the mild climate and the trendy west coast atmosphere.
Partnering with local churches, our teams work in 13 schools on a weekly basis. The City of Vancouver recently designated PAIS as one of two top outstanding youth organizations in the city. Come be a part of transforming this culturally diverse city!

Calgary || Be a part of our pioneering teams in the prairies! Famous for both cowboys and urban chique, this sprawling metropolis has views of the breath-taking Rocky Mountains.
We launched two teams here in August 2008 and have been blown away at the phenomenal response they received in the local schools. Now, a year later we have 3 full school teams and we're excited about where our teams could expand to next. Calgary is a great place to start impacting the prairies - come join us in this adventure!

Infra::Struction
We are excited to announce openings in our resource team. Working as a part of the Lower Mainland Hub (BC), this team is perfect for those who are passionate about youth and gifted in admin/media/video/graphic design, etc.
Team members will work 15+ hours a week in the youth ministry at their base church. They will join in all the normal weekly Pais training and devotions.
Their main focus (2-3 days/week) will be resourcing our schools teams in both Vancouver and Calgary. Don't miss this opportunity to impact students both locally and nationally!

Courses |

|
Multi:track Teams are based in Vancouver and Calgary. This is the ‘classic’ Pais model and includes all the normal Pais team activities.
Metro:track Team is where several Pais team members will work together in the same church. These teams are usually based at larger churches, where interns work to see big change on a big scale.
Infra:Struction Team is our newest addition. Using your gifts and talents in computer or media skills, you will combine youth work and tech support to directly impact local teens, and indirectly impact our whole department!

Rebecca Bailey worked with Pais:GB for three years before returning to Canada to launch Pais in her home nation. She has recently been voted one of Canada’s 35 top Christian leaders under the age of 35. Rebecca is on a number of national committees for youth in Canada.
