Vision of Pais:Israel
Israel has been at the heart of God’s plans throughout history. The nation comes with its own set of challenges that make the sharing of the gospel unique and fulfilling. It is home to many Arabs and Jews as well as a small traditional population of Christians. The way to reach Israel is first through love and action, then through words. We believe that God wants to reach his people, but that those called will have the wisdom and understanding to navigate this socially and religiously diverse populace.

Our vision can be found in Isaiah chapter 62. We pray you will begin to develop your own passion for the people of Israel as you let God speak to you about this movement.

History of Pais:Israel |

Our first ministry visit was made in May 2010 to scout out the land and further contacts and relationships that had been made.
There are several more trips planned this next year with ministry opportunities ranging from the West Bank city of Ariel, to the religious center of Jerusalem or the commerce capital of Tel Aviv. |

| According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics, the population in 2005 was 76.1% Jewish, 16.2% Muslim, 2.1% Christian, and 1.6% Druze, with the remaining 4.0% not classified by religion. Many of these Jews are nominal or non practicing. The need is apparent and enormous. Can you imagine an Israel fully following God? |

Opportunities |

Pais:Israel will be launching in August 2011. We are looking for people to help work towards this launch and to help us shape the vision for Pais:Israel.
All applicants must be willing to learn either Hebrew or Arabic, and must be able to hold a basic conversation in either language by August 2011. Tutorials will be provided for those working in the USA. |
