Vision

Pais offers a FREE apprenticeship in youth and schools ministry. Apprentices are trained to be missionaries who make missionaries via the three distinctives of Pais: Mission, Discipleship and Study. They disciple and empower young people to become missionaries within their school and community.

Emmanuel Quaye
It has surprised me to see just what God can do in and through me. I was not a Bible Scholar or a famous communicator and yet as I take every step in doing the work passionately, it has motivated others to do something for God. It is amazing to see how God can use me to bring a lot of souls into an understanding and experience of the Kingdom of God. Pais has transformed my thinking, shaped me, and developed me greatly. I’m proud to be part of Pais Project.

The Pais Project will train you starting with a 3-week intensive seminary-style conference and then place you as part of a team in your chosen nation.

You will serve in a church in order to make missionaries of the young people. You will also serve in local schools and when applicable share your faith in an appropriate manner.

Previous apprentices often share stories of how they have grown in the following areas: Leadership, Confidence, Disicpleship, Theology, Mentoring, Presentation and Communication.

Pais apprentices are very well trained throughout the year. Beginning with 3-weeks of foundational training, the apprenticeship then moves to the hands-on phase. Every few weeks teams are brought back together for specific conferences.

Apart from over 200-hours of seminary-style training, there are bi-weekly mentoring sessions, and you will join with Pais teams throughout the world and watch weekly interactive training videos called ‘Livewire’.

The Pais Project offers the same apprenticeship in multiple nations.

We have teams on five continents; Europe, North America, South America, Africa, and Asia. Some of these nations are well established and have many of the Pais programs operating within them. Some however, are still being pioneered. In every nation however, the same course and training is provided because of a specialist team called Global Pais.

No matter what nation you choose, you will receive the same excellent Pais resources.

The apprenticeship that Pais Project offers has three initial options as far as the length of time of a course. All start with team member positions but further leadership and specific gifting positions can be accessed.

The traditional one-year option. This option starts at the beginning of the academic year, either August or January depending on the nation.

The eighteen-month option. This option is open to apprentices who want to join Pais mid-way through an academic year.

The three year option. This gives extra training and exclusive interviews with speakers. In the third year, for qualifying applicants, Pais helps to secure a salaried ministry position.

All options can be extended and are offered in most nations.

One of the amazing things about the Pais project apprenticeship that sets it apart from any other similar opportunities is that it is free.

Your accomodation is provided for the year. This usually is with a family of the church you are serving with. You will have your own room and will be treated as a lodger although quite often you will rapidly become part of the family.

All conferences, mentoring, lectures, consultation and the 200+ hours of lectures and workshops are provided in the course.

Apprentices must provide their own spending money for personal items. They must also provide their transport costs to their initial placement and for any return visits home.

The apprenticeship can be applied for online and the initial application has a five-step process. Step 1 – application form. Step 2 – Upload a photograph. Step 3 – Create a short three-minute video. Step 4 – provide two references. If your initial application is successful then you will go to the first interview stage, where you will either be offered a position with The Pais Project or asked to apply at another time. If accepted, you will be required to complete Step 5 which involves reading two specific books before you start. You will also interview with a prospective placement church, this enables you to know exactly where you will be serving, should you choose to accept a position with the Pais Project.
